When Anastasia awoke, she found her father's urn right beside her mother's bed and began to sob quietly. After that, she coiled in horror when she realized her mother hadn't laid the deceased Prince to rest.
After collecting herself, she decided to go into town and obtain a permit for the construction of the private royal crypt. After that she took in the natural history museum and attended a design seminar. If she was going to beautify the world, she might as well start now.
She was recognized while stepping inside the salon, which had requested her services for a renovation.
All of this had been a far cry from what she'd been like as a teenager, when she was so shy and self-conscious that at Smuggsworth she kept herself locked in her room, with her art pad to keep her company.
During her few visits from Smuggsworth, she could barely look at her father, but she and her mother had no eye contact at all.
Both she and Alexandra had been teased mercilessly at Smuggsworth for being overweight. They had written teary letters begging to come home. Queen Catarina refused, but Prince Sebastian smuggled them home for his wedding.
She often wondered, while drowning herself in martinis, if the surgeries had even been worth it. She wondered if signing on to do the reality show was a mistake. What was she to do with herself?
Alexandra took a deep breath. With her first day of basic training over, she decided to go to the equestrian center. Since Queen Catarina had gotten rid of the two horses she had while at Smuggsworth, she went there in search of an equine companion.
She returned with a gorgeous Arabian mare.
Alexandra decided to name her 'Princess Jasmine Agrabah' after the female lead of the movie Aladdin.
The stable hand had told her Princess Jasmine was already well-trained in show jumping.
A Simday later, Alexandra entered Princess Jasmine in a beginner show jumping competition. Not surprisingly, Anastasia was the first in line to go to the equestrian center to support her sister.
Crown Prince Sebastian took time out of his busy schedule also to support his sister, even with his wife, Crown Princess Ella, on bed rest due to this more difficult 2nd pregnancy.
And she won, clearing every jump effortlessly.
