Meet the Twins

Alexandra and Anastasia, the fraternal twin sisters at the center of Vanderburg Squared, were born in game to a premade family in the store world of Hidden Springs.   They were born to Catarina and Renauld Vanderburg when both were well into their adult years, nearing elder stage.  In fact, at the time of their birth, Catarina was the mother of two young adult children, Sebastian and Francisca. 

Their story unfolded in game over a period of several play sessions.  Most of what's been written has been as a result of actual game play. 

 

 

Alexandra, older of the twins by three minutes, is a competitive equestrian who enjoys fishing, mountain climbing, all sports, astronomy, and video games. Notably a bit of a tomboy, she prefers to be called Alex, and everyone calls her that except for her mother, who prefers her full name and pronounces it Alex-Ahn-druh. Alexandra has dark-blond hair and gray eyes.  She dreams of becoming an astronaut.

 

 

Anastasia, younger of the twins by three minutes. Artistic, cultured, and refined, she enjoys the finer things in life and particularly likes drawing. As a child she was painfully shy, much to her mother's dismay. Most who know her refer to her simply as Ana, but her mother calls her by her full name and uses the European pronunciation, Ah-na-Stahs-ee-uh.  She has black hair and hazel green eyes.  She dreams of becoming an architectural designer.
