Chapter One Hundred Nine

"Here's a jetpack, Alexandra," began Dr. Relevart while beaming from the portal. "Your first task is to get accustomed to using it. Future Sims use it a lot while traveling to and fro."

Meanwhile, back in Hidden Springs, Anastasia was knee deep in the renovation of Redwood Heights Lodge into a luxury mountain getaway.

And that wasn't the only thing that kept her busy.

Anastasia and Lucian were regulars at avant-garde cultural events such as premieres of foreign-language movies. They also were frequently spotted eating fine dinners out at the local bistro.

Her husband of three months (and her lifelong pal) was the center of her world. But even though they were madly in love and spent every waking moment together, Anastasia still couldn't give Lucian the one thing he wanted more than anything else.

She'd even returned to ballet classes after she'd quit as a young child.

Her friend Devin Huff had convinced her to take a ballet course to improve her flexibility. "You don't have to do the hard physical stuff like Alex does," Devin said, "but you could still try to keep your figure and keep yourself in shape."
