Anastasia and Lucian arrived in Oasis Landing very early the next morning, and as soon as they arrived, Anastasia documented it on her cell phone. Despite the very early flight she seemed to be in good spirits.
"Nervous, boy?" asked Dr. Relevart. "Today's the day, right?"
"If Alex says so."
"What do you mean, if Alex says so?"
"Well," chuckled Patrick, "she calls the shots."
"Man to man," suggested Dr. Relevart, "are you going to let her?"
Patrick laughed. "What choice do I have in the matter?"
"That is true," Dr. Relevart mused. "She did create you, after all. You've been her lifelong companion and now this marriage will do nothing but make the partnership legal. No matter what her purpose was for doing what she did, she did bring you to life."
Meanwhile, Anastasia and Lucian occupied themselves with seeing the sights in Oasis Landing and reinventing the art of the PDA.
